The AIDS Support and Technical Assistance Resources Indefinite Quantity Contract (AIDSTAR) Program Sector 1
AIDSTARis an IQC with USAID's Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA) in the Bureau for Global Health.Social & Scientific Systemsis a subcontractor to John Snow, Inc. (JSI). AIDSTAR is a 5-year project (2007-2012) with a projected $500 million in procurements. AIDSTAR provides technical assistance to 114 PEPFAR countries, including the 15 focus countries. AIDSTAR will support USAID Missions in their efforts to implement comprehensive HIV programs as well as to support USAID/Washington to document, synthesize, and disseminate lessons learned and best practices. AIDSTAR may also provide technical support to Global Fund country coordinating mechanisms and principal recipients.
